1. When will I receive my digital product?
Within minutes of your purchase, you should receive a confirmation email that contains the link for you to access your digital product template. You should also receive a list of brief instructions explaining how to access your digital product.
2. Do I need a Canva account to access these templates?
Yes. You will need a FREE Canva account to access your watermark-free digital product.
3. Will any of these templates work outside of Canva?
While some of your videos (i.e. mockups, Lofi/Twitch backgrounds, etc) will work in any video editing software you choose, your video templates will ONLY work with Canva.
4. How do I download my digital product from Canva?
Click on "Share" button in the right upper corner on PC, or use the download icon on phone to retrieve files. To download only one video/or post at a time, just click the video/or post number you want. For example, if there are multiple posts but you only want to download video 2, then simply select video/post 2. All others will remain in your Canva template until you are ready to retrieve them.
5. How can I get started with these editable templates?
You must have a free Canva account in order to use these templates.
6. How does it work?
Just click on anything you want to edit. You can change: fonts, text, colors, pictures/videos, add logo, shapes, and anything else you want to change.
7. Can I edit the video overlay?
Yes. You can make the Like and Subscribe Button video as large, or as small as you want it. Just open the kit, then scroll to 'UPLOADS.' Drag and drop your video into the photo tile. Drag and drop your profile picture into the Subscribe button. That's it!
Resize your Like and Subscribe button or leave it as is, then SAVE your project.Make a copy of each new project. Rename the new project. Delete the video from the previous project and drag and drop a new video. Do this on repeat.
Also, each kit comes with basic instructions inside, so that you can open your new kit, quickly edit it, and be on your way in minutesRemember, if you don't plan to use the Canva editable kit, then simply use the transparent overlay template option instead.
8. How to use your video(s) as an overlay with alternative video editing software?
Drag and drop your profile picture into the video kit. Add your channel name, change color, change font, etc.
Once you've made all the changes necessary, select 'Share' then 'Download.'
Select Page 1 or Page 2 (depending on the video you want to download), then upload video into your preferred editing software.
From there, insert new Like and Subscribe video into your YouTube video, then resize video to shrink it down. That's it!
Now your video overlay is ready to be used how you see fit.
9. How do I delete something that I don't like in Canva?
Just hover over the area. Once the trash can icon appears, just click it to delete the item.
10. Can I change any color in the template?
Yes. Just click on the item color you want to change. You will see a color box appear. Just click that box and you will be able to select the color you want instead.
11. How do I get different shapes and other elements in the template?
Just click on "Elements" in left corner or + icon on phone to add text, shapes, and other elements to your design. Just be sure to avoid any PRO elements.
12. How can I group something in Canva to connect them like connecting text to a shape or item?
To group it, click on the text, shape, etc., then scroll to the bottom of your screen and click the three dots icon (...) That will take you to another menu. Scroll until you see the "group" option available. Hit "select" then click the next shape or item you want to connect and then hit group to connect the text or the items together.
13. What if I try to change the text or move an object but can't get to it?
Try clicking on the item or text you want, and move it out of your way. Also, try to
scroll up to the top (if on PC) or the bottom of the screen (on cellphone) and click "Position" click backward, as the object may be blocking your text.
If that doesn't work, feel free to message me so that I can help.
14. What if I see a PRO feature I want to add to my template?
Just know that once you try to download that design, the watermark will appear. To get rid of that, you'll need the PRO account or even the trial version. In some cases, Canva will allow you to simply pay a small fee for that added feature in your design without you having to upgrade to a PRO plan. However, this isn't always the case.
15. Is it possible to make a slight position change in the Canva template?
Of course. Just click on the item, text, shape, etc., and leave it selected. Scroll to the bottom of your cellphone (this can ONLY be done on your phone). Next to position, click the "NUDGE" button and use the arrows to position anything slightly left, right, up, or down into your desired position.
16. Can I use the background remover?
While that feature is available for both pictures and videos, it only works for the PRO plan. Canva does offer a trial version of the Pro plan, so you can try out the added features then decide if you want to keep the PRO account, or not.
17. What if I only have pictures to insert instead of videos but I still want video animations?
No worries. I pre-programmed all animations. Just drag and drop your picture into the picture tile and the tile will do the rest. It will take your still photo, text, and elements, and turn it into an animation, giving it movement, so that it still functions as a video.
18. What happens if my animations stop working in my pictures or videos?
Simply click on the item, or text you want to reanimate. Scroll down to animate and go through the animate menu to select the animations you want to see in your video. You may have to repeat this step several times as animations may randomly stop working in Canva.
19. More Canva Helpful Tips
Canva freezes and can be glitchy at times, depending on your internet provider, so save your work OFTEN. Do this to ensure that even when autosaves stops, all of your work doesn't get lost.
If the site freezes and the Elements and other buttons disappear, just save whatever you're working on and exit the site. Log on after a few minutes and everything should be back to normal.
